Real Time Analytics For Social Media Platforms

Now comes the time for analysing and reacting with insights on social monitoring's findings.
Social monitoring is by definition a passive process consisting of aggregating and alerting about what is being discussed on a topic.
A more advance approach than monitoring is social analytics. It provides intelligence for management and analysis of customer data from social sources by measuring behavior and activity data collected from social platforms.
Social analytics solutions, like Kontagent, will look at variables, all collectable in real time, such as:
- demographics
- geographic location
- age groups
- gender
- user engagement times
- social event interaction
Social analytics is mainly used to react and recalibrate marketing and business programs. With enough behavior and activity observance, such platform will probably end up providing predictive recommendations.
